In-Kind Donations

Wish List Items

In-kind donations help our Guests get the basic items they need as they recover from homelessness at the bridge. Collecting items or hosting a donation drive for The Bridge is a great way to get offices, church groups, families, schools, and neighbors involved in homeless recovery!

Welcome Home Baskets

Help a new Bridge graduate get started in their home by donating a Welcome Home Basket! When a Guest transitions into a home of their own, they often lack the resources for cleaning, cooking, and sleeping.

Your Welcome Home Basket purchase is tax-deductible. Submit the estimated total amount spent on the donations when you deliver it to The Bridge and we’ll provide you with a tax-acknowledgement letter.

$100 can fund a Welcome Basket for a new Bridge graduate!

Mattress-in-a-Box Donations

Typically when Guests move into their own home, they don’t have any furniture to fill it. Pre-COVID we would utilize the furniture bank or other non profits to secure furniture or, at least, a mattress for Guests moving into their home.  This would go along with our welcome basket that we provided more directly.  With COVID, these agencies are closed temporarily or greatly diminished in their ability to help.  This has caused some of our Guests to sleep on the floor upon move-in until their name appears on the waiting list for furniture assistance OR they manage to save up enough to make their rent and also buy some simple furniture. You can help provide a critical need to those who have worked hard to move into their own home. Purchase a mattress-in-a-box and have it shipped to The Bridge so we can transport a mattress to the Guests new home! $129 can provide the hope and excitement for a Guest to continue their journey as a self-sufficient individual.
