The Most Inspiring Leaders of 2021

We are so proud to announce that Dr. David Woody, III, President and CEO of The Bridge Homeless Recovery Center, has been awarded the honor of Most Inspiring Leader of 2021 by the Dallas Business Journal. This is such an important affirmation Dr. Woody’s leadership, The Bridge employees, The Bridge Guests, and the work accomplished for our community by The Bridge. The Dallas Business Journal will be hosting a virtual event on June 22 to recoginze these leaders. You can learn more on their website.

“To be recognized in such a monumental way by the Dallas Business Journal as one of The Most Inspiring Leaders of 2021 is a stunning affirmation. Leadership is a characteristic I am learning more about and trying to improve upon daily. To be a leader over the past year, managing the Coronavirus pandemic and the increasingly visible specter of systemic racism, has necessitated modeling a discipline – personally and professionally – that might inspire others. More importantly, that I have been chosen for such an award is an awesome reflection of The Bridge’s mission, work of The Bridge employees, and successes The Bridge Guests continue to achieve despite the pandemic. What The Bridge aspires to accomplish for our employees and our Guests is possible through critical thinking, planning, and a passion for listening. The Bridge Homeless Recovery Center is even better today because this pronouncement!” David Woody, III
