Ramon T.

Man laying in bed in new apartment.

Ramon T. is a 70-year-old man who had been homeless since May 2023 after his job replaced him while he was on a medical leave of absence due to his diabetes. Ramon could not no longer pay for the room he was renting. Ramon did not want to go to a shelter, but by working with the bridge outreach team and partners like the Stewpot Ramon was able to obtain his critical documents and even begin receiving his benefits through Social Security. Ramon was housed through the Street to Home program that The Bridge Outreach Team enrolled him in. Ramon had worked hard all his life and is very excited for his retirement and the sense of security he feels now for his future.
