We’re proud to be one of 144 community impact partners who will benefit from the historic Giving Tuesday $15 million investment presented to United Way Dallas by The Perot Foundation. As a United Way partner, we’re committed to doing our part in shaping a region where all of North Texas can thrive.

Dr. Woody was invited to attend the United Way Giving Tuesday Reception where the announcement was made. Here is his response: “The Bridge Homeless Recovery Center was excited to learn of the powerful 15-million-dollar investment The Perot Foundation has committed to United Way of Metropolitan Dallas. I am humbled by the decision of UWMD to increase The Bridge’s multi-year Community Impact Grant annual allocation. These resources will assist with The Bridge’s capacity and competencies with addressing the increasing number of citizens seeking homeless recovery services at this time, especially the nearly 550 Guests at this time seeking Day Shelter services daily. Thank you to The Perot Foundation and UWMD leadership for this ongoing affirming demonstration of support of The Bridge Homeless Recovery Center mission – Empower adults experiencing homelessness in Dallas with the tools to homeless recovery as they move into sustainable housing.”

Thank you to The Perot Foundation for helping us make an impact in the region we call home. Learn more: https://hubs.li/Q01twL0k0
